Stéphanie Gravel Joins the CRC Staff

The Canadian Religious Conference (CRC) is pleased to welcome a new member as part of its permanent staff. Stéphanie Gravel joins the CRC team as Associate Director – Regional Programming and Leadership Support.

Stéphanie has a Master’s degree in practical theology with a specialisation in pastoral counselling and a Doctorate in both religious studies and education. A specialist in cultural teaching and non-denominational religions, she taught theology and religions for the past twelve years in different universities, CEGEP and private colleges. As the person responsible for the implementation of the non-denominational program on religions “Ethics and culture of religions” in the Quebec private schools sector, she trained the principals and the primary and secondary teachers of private schools founded by religious communities.

Putting the members of the CRC at the heart of the issues of today’s world, bearing in mind the different charism of religious congregations present in Canada, is of fundamental importance in her mandate. In a spirit of collegiality and cooperation, Stéphanie is committed to collaborate with the leaders of religious communities in bearing witness to Christ and in seeking creative and prophetic paths for the future of consecrated life.
