She held many administrative positions with organizations such as Holy Childhood, Canadian Religious Conference and Catholic Missions Council to name a few. Her successful teaching career culminated with her principalship in Peru and Canada.

During her 70 years of religious life, she held many positions including Superior General (1974-1984), President of the Canadian Religious Conference (1980-1982), and Councillor then Secretary General of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) in Rome.
Read moreIt is with sadness that the Sisters of Holy Cross announce the death of Sister Jeanne Dusseault who passed away on April 26, 2020 in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, at the age of 100 after 84 years spent in religious life. Born in a rural milieu in Western Canada, she has left an indelible mark on the Congregation, on the Church and on the world of her time. In particular, she has served as Provincial Superior in Alberta from 1967 to 1973 and as Superior General of the Congregation from 1973 to 1985.
