Emmaus Productions is delighted to announce the launch of our new online video series “Landscapes of the Soul” by internationally acclaimed spiritual writer, Margaret Silf.
It offers image and text reflections and prayer on life’s journey, which are inspired by the natural landscapes that we encounter in our lives.
There are 10 episodes in this series. Each episode runs for approximately 10 – 12 minutes and includes an introduction by Margaret to the theme of the specific episode, followed by guided voice over reflections from Margaret, which are supported with images. Following this, there is a brief period for personal reflection and prayer. This concludes with a prayer led by Margaret.
This video series is one of several series for spiritual enrichment, developed and produced by Monica Brown, Director of Emmaus Productions, in the Emmaus Online Video Prayer and Meditation Library hosted on the liturgy website www.liturgyritualprayer.com

About Margaret Silf
Margaret Silf was born and raised in South Yorkshire, U.K. She was baptized a Methodist, joined the Anglican Church at 15, and was received into the Roman Catholic faith at 20. She experienced a genuine return to God, however, in her mid-30s, aided by a Jesuit. Today she calls herself a “boundary dweller,” no longer belonging to a particular Christian denomination and more at home outside the institutional church than within. In the 1990s she studied with the Jesuits of the British Province and began incorporating Ignatian spiritual practices into her daily life.
Formerly a technical writer for the computer industry in Great Britain, Silf took early retirement to devote more of her time to creative forms of writing, accompanying others in their prayer journeys and leading retreats. Her writing springs from personal prayer and is an expression of her own journey with God.
